About Us

Dr. Doris Soernssen-Hahn, D.C., M.S.

With 24 years in Practice Dr. Doris Soernssen-Hahn graduated from New York Chiropractic College in April of 2000 with her Doctorate in Chiropractic Medicine, practicing diversified manipulation along with many different modalities, including KDT Class IV Laser Therapy, muscle stimulation, moist heat, and decompression therapy. Dr. Soernssen-Hahn holds her Masters Degree in Science Human Anatomy & Physiology Instruction. She currently holds a teaching position at Rowan College. Dr. Doris is also a Certified Decompression Therapy Practitioner and has training in the Webster Technique (turning breech babies).

KDT Class IV Laser Therapy

We are now offering a new treatment!

This new technology provides a deeper penetration to reach spinal discs and joints where other modalities do not reach. Works at a cellular level, speeds up healing, releases pain inhibitors, decreases inflammation and heals/repairs damaged tissue. Recommended for disc injuries, nerve and joint pain.

This treatment is not covered by insurance.

Decompression Traction System therapy gently stretches the spine, relieving pressure from the discs, joints and muscular tissues. This enhances the body’s natural healing process. This is a non-surgical treatment for cervical and lumbar disc herniation's/bulges. Very effective for the relief of radicular symptoms associated with disc injuries.

Adult, Child, and Pre-Natal Chiropractic

Back In Action specializes in Pre-Natal and Child Chiropractic care. Women receiving chiropractic checkups can increase their nervous system capacity, which is important for creating a healthy foundation for developing babies.
